After returning to Sydney, we undertook our own home renovation while balancing full-time careers and family life.
Without an established network of industry contacts or someone independently representing us, we experienced firsthand the challenges of managing a renovation ourselves.
That experience became the inspiration for Summit.

I lived overseas for 26 years — eight in London, then 18 across Hong Kong and Singapore.
When it came time to renovate our Sydney home, we waited until we'd moved back. Not because we wanted to, but because we didn't have someone on the ground we trusted to represent us.
The result was months in a serviced apartment while we worked full-time and managed the renovation ourselves, without an established network of industry contacts.
My background is over 20 years in senior leadership roles with major international banks across London, Hong Kong and Singapore, most recently as a Chief Operating Officer in Sydney.
Governance, risk management and delivering complex programs have been central to my career. As a CPA, I also bring a strong financial discipline to project budget oversight.

You do. We present clear options, explain the implications and provide recommendations so you can make informed decisions. Nothing is committed without your approval.
Through regular site visits, progress reports, photos and video updates. We also schedule calls around your time zone, agreeing on a reporting schedule that reflects the stage and complexity of your project.
You contract with and pay your builder, consultants and suppliers directly. Summit provides budget oversight, tracks expenditure against agreed budgets and helps coordinate the review of invoices and variations, referring matters requiring professional certification to the appropriately appointed consultant.
Our fees are agreed separately and paid directly to Summit.
Every renovation is different. Our fees reflect the scope, complexity and level of representation required. Following an introductory call, we'll provide a tailored proposal outlining our services and fees before you make any commitment.
Summit is appointed by you and represents your interests throughout the renovation. We coordinate with your architect, builder and other consultants while keeping you informed and involved in key decisions.
Ideally, before you begin your renovation. Early involvement allows us to help define your brief, assemble the right professional team and establish a clear plan. We can also discuss supporting projects that are already underway.
